I love taking pictures! I always have a camera handy to capture moments that will never again repeat itself.
Last week, while most of my workmates were at a team building activity, I found the beauty of daybreak at 5 am. I took a snapshot of the lovely sky with my cellphone. The moon was just so pretty!
I ran back in the building to get my camera. Then I took another picture. Notice how quickly it got to light? The smudge (or streak) in the middle of the picture is a sparrow in flight. My shutter finger was not quick enough to get a better picture of it.
I stand in awe at the beautiful colors of the horizon. Its a new day. A new chance at life.
Praise and Glory to the Holy Triune God. Thank you Lord for making me witness Your Greatness.
Thats is indeed a nice sun rise you don't see those every sun rise...thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHi Nova. I work nights so that is most of what I see - the sunrise. I wish I could capture pictures of the sunset too, but I am usually asleep at that time. :)
DeleteWhat an inspiring post. Everyday is a gift that each of us should appreciate!
ReplyDeleteOh yes. Every day is a chance to start anew, to learn from the lessons of yesterday and to hope for a better future ahead.
Deletegreat photo! last night was a huge moon but im too sleep to take some photo myself lucky you
ReplyDeleteI wanted to take a picture of the huge moon last night but it was kinda cloudy and the pretty moon was partly hidden behind the clouds. I will try again tonight. :)
Deletehappy for you Ai, that you were able to capture precious moments such as this, not many delight in simple but very beautiful things such as this one.
ReplyDeleteOther people think I am too shallow, taking pictures of what they call "mundane" stuff. I love what I do and I see the beauty and story behind simple stuff. I'd rather take snapshots of life rather than take a picture of myself in a bikini. haha. (As if I would ever don a bikini)
DeleteAmen. I just love your grateful heart sisterette and these photos are so beautiful... I always look forward to dawn and seeing God light up our day without even asking... take care always...: )
ReplyDeleteI agree, sis. As long as God gives us the sunrise, it means He still has hope in mankind. We must take to heart His blessings and make the most of what we have.
DeleteWe really should be doing more of this kind of thankful appreciation for such beauty that surrounds us than lamenting about our troubles.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree. There are so many things that are taken for granted when in fact, all they ask for is to be appreciated. Flowers, little bugs, the blue sky, the moments spent with family... all these are precious!
DeleteI look forward to the day when I'm awake at that time of the morning. It's been a while since I had the chance to do so. Your captures are awesome. Your post makes me appreciate all the more the beauty of everything that surrounds me :-)
ReplyDeleteIsn't God great? He always gives us little reminders that He is always with us, giving us hope in life. Give thanks for the hope that every sunrise brings, and give thanks for the blessings we received with every sunset. God is good.
DeleteSuch an inspiring post! This is a perfect reminder for us to count each and every little blessing that come along our way.
ReplyDeleteLovely captures! I love how you gave depth and beautiful meaning to them!
Cheers!
Exactly Lainy. There are so many good things in this world that we just ignore.
DeleteBeautiful shots Sis :-) I also love the morning and usually take pictures of the sunrise while waiting for my kids bus to ick them up. I am a morning person and would love to take a picture more when it starts to get warm here real soon :-)
ReplyDeleteI will be waiting for your pictures, Jessica. Hope you'll be able to share them soon. :)
DeleteWow! I go crazy seeing sunrise photos. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteA daybreak is always a good scene to witness.
ReplyDeleteWe obtain energy from the Sun. And I believe it's right that we revere God for giving us the Sun.
ReplyDeleteWow! Lovely shots. This just inspired me! :)
